ALL INDIA LAW SEMINARON:‘DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE: SPACE FOR THE VOICE OF THE UNDER PRIVILEGED’, INDORE.

Legal Assistance Forum organized its fourth Annual Seminar and All India Law Students’ Competition on ‘Democratic Governance: Space for the Voice of the Under Privileged’ on 15th November 2008 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Law Students Competition
As prelude to the seminar, an All India Law Students Competition was conducted in the morning session. 10 selected teams comprising of two students each were invited for oral presentation on their respective papers. Three topics given for presentation were:
(1) Speaker – an independent institution or merely a member of Political Party?
(2) Cash for vote – a revisit on the JMM case [1998 (4) SCC 626]
(3) Empowering the underprivileged through inner party democracy.
